I was born on February 25, 1961, in Plainfield, New Jersey, and grew up in Colonia, New Jersey, where I was graduated from high school in 1979. From September 1979 until May of 1990 I attended Middlesex County College in Edison, New Jersey, on a part-time basis. Since that time I have done independent study and projects in mathematics and in the pure, applied, and social sciences, writing, speech, and the visual and performing arts.
