I am a PhD student in the research field of interaction of transparent materials with ultrashort femtosecond laser pulses. I use different optical methods to investigate thes properties of the materials and how to enhance/control the ablation of the material by manipulating the temporal pulse shape. Beside the eperiments I perform numerical calculations to understand the underlying processes.
