William is passionate about Earth Science and Computer Science, specifically oceanography, competitive programming, and machine learning. He loves participating in competitive programming competitions (USACO, Meta Hacker Cup, etc.) and in research revolving around remote sensing and earth science. At school, he participates in the math, computer science, research, and science olympiad clubs. In his free time, he loves nature photography and playing chess.
