ABOUT ME:
Paul Fischer obtained his B.S. in Physics with a Minor in Applied Mathematics from Loyola Marymount University in 2016. He went on to teach high school physics for the next three years before deciding he needed to return to school to participate in further physics research. He is currently a second-year Computational Physics M.S. student at California Sate University, Long Beach where he studies excited fractional quantum Hall states of graphene via Monte Carlo simulations under Dr. Michael R. Peterson. He is also interested in data science and is a beginner opera singer and classical guitarist.
