Joel Choi graduated from Grinnell College with a bachelors in Physics and Mathematics in 2023 and joined the Wolfram Summer School the same year. In the following year he participated in the Wolfram Emerging Leadership Program and modeled some parts of the Muon g-2 Project at Fermilab in Mathematica. Choi is interested in studying theoretical particle physics as he starts his PhD in Physics at University of Iowa in 2024. ​ In his free time Choi enjoys dancing, drawing digital illustrations, and playing video games. He was one of the founders and teachers in his school hip hop club and has organized gaming tournaments at his school
