User Portlet

I obtained my BSc and MSc degrees in theoretical physics from the University of Stellenbosch, South Africa. For my MSc thesis I studied non-commutative quantum mechanics.

I have since completed a PhD at the University of Oslo, at the institute Physics of Geological Processes (PGP), on the topic of primary migration (modelling of how oil and gas gets out of the source rock).

I participated at the 2013 Wolfram Science Summer School, and for my project I developed a simple network automaton model for fracture network evolution.

Currently I'm working for DNV GL, Strategic Research & Innovation, as a researcher in the Offshore Safety group.
