[?] Use the DSolve y[x] as a function?

I am doing a lab for class, but I am stuck on this issue. I do not understand what the problem is even after looking into it. Does anyone else see the problem? Thanks!

In[1]:= DSolve[t^3 y'[t] + 4 y[t]^2 == 0, y[t], t]

Out[1]= {{y[t] -> -(t^2/(2 + t^2 C[1]))}}
