Get Stellate image using the PolyhedronOperations` package?

I tried using the PolyhedronOperations` package. The Needs command worked OK. I used an example in the mathematica help file but Stellate didn't produce the output in the help file. Here is the output I got enter image description here

Any ideas about the reason for the difference? Thanks

Try Stellate[PolyhedronData["Dodecahedron"]]. There is no example in the documentation that suggests it should work on the "Image" of a polyhedron.
