Open a hidden folder from Mathematica frontend?

Hello. How to open a hidden folder, for example ~/.WolframEngine, from the Mathematica 11.0.1 frontend?

It looks like you are on Linux, so this may not work, but on MacOS, Command-Shift-Period will display hidden files in the Finder and the same shortcut keys work within Wolfram Desktop.

On versions of Linux with Nautilus file manager, it is Control+H, but not sure if it works in Wolfram.

Yes, Raspberry pi uses Linux. Unfortunately, these key combinations did not work for me. As a workaround, I created a symbolic link :

pi@raspberrypi:~$ ls -s .WolframEngine WolframEngine

so that WolframEngine now appears in the open file menu and leads to .WolframEngine. Not very nice but the trick may be acceptable for linux users.
