Arithmetic problems in WolframAlpha

I have asked WolframAlpha to give a solution for the following query 

The total of apples in six boxes of 10 apples each.

It seems that wolfram alpha cannot transform this ptroblem into the simple operation 6 times 10. What  would a suitable quastion format for WolframAlpha to solve it?

The parser likely will want the question to be written in a format like this. Additionally these seem to be addition problems of one sort or another.
