Copy and paste in Mathematica

Posted 11 years ago
Hi,

When I use the short cmd+c in Mathematica to copy a text passage, I normally have to use the shortcuts two times, because the system does not copy the first time. Is this normal and can I change it so that it does work the first time I press the shortcut?

regards Nickel

I haven't heard of this issue before and can't seem to reproduce it. If you have any more details about the problem, that might help me understand it. What version of Mac OS are you running on?

As a first step, I would try following this article.

I have the same issue (running on mac). How does the link help? It does not lead anywhere now.

The same article can now be found at https://support.wolfram.com/12464

Thanks! though I don't think this the issue (the Mathematica on my machine was just installed). I think there is a lag in Mathematica when typing on cmd+c, and therefore id does not copy. It happens to me on my desktop as well.
