Inverse of a (m,m)-Matrix whose elements are (n,n)-Matrices

In the first part of this thread we have shown how to find the inverse of a (m,m)-matirx with (n,n)-matrices as elements.

Now we will generalize this procedure and demonstrate how to calculate the inverse of a (m,m)-matrix with square-matrices of different sizes along its main-diagonal. That means that, in general, the off-diagonal submatrices are rectangular and not square.
