Numerical Laplace Inversion of Complicated Functions

Posted 5 years ago

I have a function is Laplace Domain which is very complicated and I need to invert it numerically into time domain as analytical inversion takes a lot of time. The problem is that neither the Talbot method, nor the GWR method are giving meaningful results. I used the subroutines given in the wolfram pages themselves for the inversion, but they are not working. Talbot gives diverging answers for short times and GWR does not even run. Does anyone know any way out?

Difficult to guess what is going on. I can't even see that example, let alone replicate it for diagnosing. Please post a clear example of input and desired output. Nobody likes to guess...

My code is problem specific and the function I am trying to invert is very big and complicated. Would it help if I provided the function and also the subroutines that I am using to invert? I could provide them.
