Use Mathematica and CUDA in an Acer nitro 15 gtx1050?

Posted 4 years ago

Recently I bought the computer ACER NITRO 15" CORE I5 8300H, GTX 1050 4gb GDDR5, RAM 32gb 2666Mhz, SSD 256. I installed the Linux Ubuntu 18.04 and installed all drivers for Nvidia 1050 + CUDA. After open Mathematica and verify the system information; CUDA is not loading.

Using the command "Nvidia-msi" from the terminal appears that CUDA is already installed.

Someone else have any idea why happens it? and if is possible use Mathematica with my GPU?

Operative system Ubuntu 18.04 reinstalled. Mathematica reinstalled and active.

Also I followed the next link: https://mathematica.stackexchange.com/questions/90031/are-you-able-to-use-cuda-on-linux But the issue persists. Cuda already installed.
