Not able to calculate determinant

Hi,
I am trying to calculate the determinant of a 27*27 matrix which has 7 unvalued symbols. I was expecting from Mathematica to provide me a symbolic result so that I can solve that equation corresponding to some ranges of those unknown symbols/variables. But Mathematica has failed to return to me the symbolic solution for that. What is the limit for Mathematica to compute the determinant? If you want, I can share the values or entries of that matrix. most of them are zeroes. But neither all entries in a same row or column are zeros and matrix is not singular. Can someone help me? I can provide entries for the matrix. Please copy paste it and check it doesn't give any error but its not providing the results.

I am only guessing, but I believe that part of your problem is that you are trying to take the determinant of a desktop published MatrixForm. A MatrixForm is not a matrix and you cannot do any calculations with that, you can only display it.

The last three lines of your post are also unclear exactly what calculation you want to perform.

Can you make any sense out of this reformatted version of your code and describe exactly what calculation you would like to perform?

Determinant of sol variable
Det[Sol]
  is my purpose, which actually is a list of list means Matrix. What do you meant by that it is not a matrix ? It is matrx with ever entity of that matrix is a variable which has been assigned a value.

sol = K - (((Freq[[2]])^2)*M) // MatrixForm
sol is now a MatrixForm. A MatrixForm is not a Matrix. A MatrixForm does not have a Determinant.

Try this to see
Det[MatrixForm[{{1,2},{3,4}}]]
that Det does not know how to find the determinant of a MatrixForm.

What is T? Is it a matrix? Is it a scalar constant? What is the value of T?

You write T*Kg. Do you mean matrix or vector product? Then use . and not *
If you are only multiplying all entries in Kg by a scalar constant T then use * and not .

Perhaps with the value of T and not using MatrixForm you can get your determinant in a second.
