Why is my databin "stuck" at 255 entries

Posted 4 years ago

Hello,

Wolfram reports that my databin has 273 entries, but then immediately contradicts itself by reporting that it has only 255 entries. Please see below - any idea what is going wrong? enter image description here

Andrew:

Wow, I had no idea. I want my own "besso" now.

Thank you both very much.

Mike, a "besso" is also the Japanese name for a second home in the countryside. A friend who lives in Japan has a besso in the mountains and as you can see, the data is from his weather station. You could probably guess it's in the mountains from the daytime low in late May!

Best wishes,

Andrew

Hi Andrew,

This works fine for me. Try reevaluating myDataBin = Databin["GaSnSubP"]

Dataset[myDataBin][[256]]

Andrew:

Since you turned the databin into a dataset, I suggest trying the dataset notation:

Dataset[myDataBin][300, All]

Which works for me.

However, I do have one question for you: Why is your databin named "Besso"? Is there any relation to my family?

Have a great and safe week.
