Wolfram Model Tool, Explorer and 3d Videos of Wolfram Models

Posted 3 years ago

We've added a new open listing of all universe models explored in 3d. Hypergraph Universes

We've also been experimenting visualizations and video with the models. Here are some examples of the visualizations.

Hello Ahmed.

I created an open database for the hypergraph universes where each model can be examined easily in a 3d view with an open source hypergraph project.

Hello Ahmed.

I'd like to mention that here is more videos from the Pillow model that we generated with higher generations here: Wolfram Model 44586

If you or your friends would like to have a short test with the video generation, please let me know.

Hello Ahmed.

There is a new update for the Pillow model, a video that follows all edges to show how the model is formed.

Thank you for the feedback. Best Tuomas

Hello Ahmed. Just to mention there is now examples of animations for the model 6721 that show the path based on the edge orders of the model and the vertex order of the model.

That looks promising, waiting for a contact! -Marko

Terve Marko ja kiitos palautteesta.

Yes there is for an example the 6721 looks in 2d format

And in 3d

I will contact you for more details!

That is a nice tool, thanks for dev&shr. Is it possible to get an image snapshot of the 3d model from and to a Wolfram notebook? I found some dozen interesting models that are really getting so only after seeing them in 3D models and something like > 20 steps. For example:

Four spikes 3D 50 steps

Modeled in native WolframModelPlot with 10 steps is just: Four spikes 2D 10 steps

Just for notice, there is now 3 new updates for models 6271 that turned very interesting in 3d, 11114 that examines the details and 1495 of examining two different generations.

The image is updated also for the model 1986.

Hello Ahmed. There is a new update showing the model 1116, where there is no meshes generated in the actual model. The meshes are added to the paths to visualize the model and then colored by the length of the paths.

Thank you for the feedback.

There is a new video now of the model that is mentioned in the article Local Dimension Measure and Rotation Groups in Wolfram Models The model is 4758 Generation 400.

Thank you Tuomas. The Pillow model looks fantastic.

Hello Ahmed.

I added new videos of models referred also in this post Local Dimension Measure and Rotation Groups in Wolfram Models In the post they are the 1268 (Cactus) model and 44586 (Pillow) model.

With the 1286 (cactus) model it's noticeable in the video that the model closes at specific points and reopens.

I would be interested in visualizing more models.

Thank you very much Ahmed.

This might be doable, it would require configuration for the camera data, vertex colors and the frame size and frames per second.

These images are currently done with external tools and scripts and require manual work and computation with a GPU processor. But this allows also high resolution to be rendered, here for example the 8k resolution of the image and video.

Very good work Tuomas. Thank you for sharing.

Can this be put as a compact function that visualize graphs (in general) in 3D and create videos?
