FEM/ Using moving meshes/ Design of a propeller within a fluid.

Good afternoon everyone,

I am investigating how to solve problems with Mathematica, through FEM, using moving meshes. In particular, how could the design of a propeller within a fluid be considered? The propeller can be a domain Ω1 that rotates within another domain Ω2, the two domains share a same boundary.

It´s possible with M. v12.1?

Thank you.

Thanks.

I am quite sure that non-conformal interfaces (e.g., a sliding mesh) are not currently supported. The best you could do is use a reference frame approximation, but that would still be a substantial undertaking.
