I thought I'd share a little efficiency trick that I've learned while learning the Wolfram Language. If others have similar tricks, please share so that we can all become more efficient.
When I have some free time, I try to answer some of the questions posted in the community in areas that are new to me.
Of course, I find myself using Google.
While the "How to post" guidelines suggest searching the web, the example shows how to limit your search to a single site. But, we know that the answer that we want is just likely to be in the community or in stack exchange.
It turns out that google allows you to search multiple sites at once. You just need to use OR.
For example, to search both the community and stack exchange for how to export to csv, I can use:
export to csv site:community.wolfram.com OR site:mathematica.stackexchange.com
If I know up front that I want a recent answer (within the last year) as opposed to an answer that worked with Mathematica 3.0, then I will also filter by date.
Have a great and safe holiday.
