Get results from equation in decimal form

Posted 2 years ago

Hi,

I would like to know how to get the results of my equation in the form of decimals and not in the form of the exact formula. The equation I am solving is the following :

solve cos(t1)=t2, sin(t1)=0.17633t2+0.70531, 0<=t1<2pi

https://www.wolframalpha.com/input/?i=solve+cos%28t1%29%3Dt2%2C+sin%28t1%29%3D0.17633t2%2B0.70531%2C+0%3C%3Dt1%3C2pi

Is there something I need to add to the command ?

Sometimes including a decimal value in the query is enough to let it know what you want.

In this case changing 0<=t1<2*pi to 0<=t1<2*pi+0.0 was enough to get it to work
