Mathematica recommended by Gerard 't Hooft for Computational Physics

For those who don't know who 't Hooft is, he won the Nobel prize for theoretical physics for the proof of a key element that permits the standard model (think the Higgs boson discovered at the LHC) to me a self consistent theory.

These days he is also exploring aspects of fundamental physics that in some ways area aligned to Stephen Wolfram's A New Kind of Science.
