Getting company logos

Posted 11 years ago

Good day,

I am trying to query for a list of company logos, but am not having much luck.

Search: company logos for Microsoft Google Apple facebook

Returns 2 logos, that's it. This is really what I would like to query...

company logos for top 50 technology companies by revenue in North America

Any thoughts? I am really new to this.

Hi Kevin,

www.wolframalpha.com is different from Mathematica. The example I wrote is in Mathematica where I use the API to call WolframAlpha. You can query WolframAlpha directly like:

http://www.wolframalpha.com/input/?i=logos+of+top+10+Technology+company

Unfortunately, it seems to be working on updating its financial data infrastructure.

Thank you very much for your help. I am a bit confused about your query. I just used http://www.wolframalpha.com/ for my search, but it appears your interfaced with the system in some other way.

Hi Kevin,

Mathematica 9 doesn't have built-in company data yet but WolframLanguage allows you to get that information through WolframAlpha.

Please see the attached notebook for what I tried.

Here is the result. Unfortunately, not all of them return a logo. Tech_Logo
