Triangle break down of the letter of the alphabet

Posted 1 year ago

Hello, We started a project in Mathematica where we need to model diffraction pattern of a simple wave (plane wave, basically S0Exp[S0Exp[[Omega]t - kz]) throughout slot taking the form of letters of the alphabet. To do so, we need to break down into triangles those letters, so we can add diffraction patterns for each triangle. We already succeeded to break down straight letters (such as µ which is the symbol of our school, and E), but we struggle to break down for "curved letters" (C,O,...). Do you have any potential solution you would submit to us? Furthermore, FourierTransform[] doesn't work on graphic triangles, so we must use another formula where we need to integrate under these triangles; so can we really integrate on graphic triangles?
Thanks in advance.
