Hi Günther. Many of your posts remind me of this classic sphere eversion animation called 'Inside Out'. The source code for animating it can be found here http://profs.etsmtl.ca/mmcguffin/eversion/, specifically sphereEversion-0.3.1.tar.gz.

I began to translate that C++ code to be plotted in Mathematica independently of their old graphics libraries, but never got around to finishing. Would you be interested in collaborating to reproduce their 'corrugated eversion' animation in Mathematica?

Hi Adam, in 1995 the booklet - Making Waves by S. Levy - and the video - Outside In - "The Geometry Center, University of Minnesota" introduced me to the sphere eversion. The ideas behind making this video motivated me a lot. The same year I joined a team to develop a math-courseware for schools in Austria.

Currently I focus on creating 3d-animations for my collection. The idea of a collaboration with you is tempting, but my health situation dictates a decline.

Good luck, Günther
