Finding the area of a 3D solid by rotating graphs around an axis

Posted 11 years ago

Hello!

I am a college student who uses wolfram alpha to check homework and show step by step solutions. I know that wolfram does not provide step by step solutions to find the area between two curves, however it does provide the answer. Is there a way to get alpha to calculate the volume of a solid when rotating around an axis at all? Or, even better, the volume of two curves rotated around an axis?
