Having a CDF open in a web browser without the code initially showing

Posted 10 years ago

I'd like to have just the Manipulate object showing when someone opens up a CDF document that I write in Mathematica 10.0. (I haven't upgraded to the latest revision.) Even when I save the CDF with just the Manipulate object showing, the code always shows upon opening. I don't care if the user eventually sees the code. I just don't want it to show upon opening. Is there some setting I'm missing? Attached is an example.

Thank you! That did it.

What I do is change the properties of all the cells you do not want to show to close. This can be done by selecting all the code cells, then doing cell->cell properties-->uncheck open

Only now save it as CDF. You can always afterwords check the cells back to open to use them.
