Basic Geometric Regions examples in version 10

Posted 10 years ago

I find the new symbolic geometry capability in Mathematica 10 to be really exciting, but am having a hard time finding examples. For example, on the new features page for Basic Geometric Regions in 1D there is actual code for the example output shown. However, for the very next page, Basic Geometric Regions in 2D, there is no code, just a static graphic and it is the same way for all the other examples. Am I missing somewhere the code is at, or is it just not being supplied at all by Wolfram?

Even where seemingly no code appears, you can find some, e.g. klick the Smiley pictogram in implicitly-defined-regions-in-2d and copy ca. 1450 lines of code into a local file to have a look, here is where the smiley starts ...

TagBox[GridBox[{
{"\"\<Smiley\>\""},

okay, it's compressed, so which page have you in mind?

The Smiley code is available (click on 'Show complete WL code').

That's not the case for the 'Basic Geometric Regions' in 2D, 3D and nD pages, I think these were meant more as a visual illustration of the basic symbolic region primitives. More examples about these, with code, can be found in the documentation, for instance starting at
