There has been puzzling petroleum economic activities in the USA that had concerned some Americans and I was asked to look into a Bloomberg screenshot of sudden sharp spike of US petroleum exports.
This notebook confirms that the spike occurred about 2007 at incredible 10x to 15x spikes depending on the petroleum product.
I thought maybe the community here might benefit from this exercise.
