Deleting a Cell with Keystrokes

Posted 10 years ago

Quick but odd question,

Is there any way to delete a cell using keystrokes alone?

Thanks,

On OSX at least just select the cell's cell bracket and hit the delete key or Command-X.

If you haven's selected the cell bracket but your insertion point is in the cell you can use control-. (control period) to extend your selection until you get to the cell bracket and then use the above.

All of these keyboard equivalents are listed alongside the appropriate menu item in the Edit menu.
