How do I adopt the color scheme used by Mathematica in their examples?

Posted 10 years ago

The color scheme used by mathematica in their online examples is much more colorful than the default color scheme being used by my version of Mathematica (9.0) For example, here is how theirs looks, and here is how mine looks. In case it isn't obvious yet I'm fairly novice, so the more help the better! How can I switch to their color scheme?

A big thank-you to any help!

The plots on the WRI web site are done in Mathematica 10. There a new option PlotTheme was introduced. There are various themes that use various styles and colors and the Automatic choice is different than in Mathematica 9.

You could change your plot by giving a list of styles for the individual lines in the PlotStyle Option.. I rather doubt, in this case, that it would be worth the effort.
