As far as I can tell, gridMathematica version 10 is not yet released.
If there is an explanation for this, would someone elaborate?

I may be entirely wrong, but since gridMathematica is just a grid control system, not the actual kernel, it should work fine with Mathematica 10 code as long as the compute nodes are all running the Mathematica 10 kernel.
