How do I plot this on Mathematica?

Posted 9 years ago

f(x) = 1/3x^3 - 1/2x^2 - 2x + 1/3, g(x) = x - 1

How do I plot these on the same coordinate system?

Try this,

Plot[{(1/3) x^3 - .5 x^2 - 2 x + (1/3), x - 1}, {x, -4, 4}]

The plot is like this,
