what isC[1] means?

Posted 10 years ago

I have a solution shows : -(((1 + 6 capA - 6 capC)^7 capD)/(2 (1 + 6 capA)^6 capC)) + e^((6 capC t)/(1 + 6 capA)) C[1]

Cap are constant but what is the C[1] means? Thanks!

C[1] is the usual Mathematica notation for a constant of integration. If this were the solution of a second-order diff eq, you would also see C[2].
