Wolfram Desktop Won't Save

Posted 10 years ago

Ever since downloading Wolfram Desktop for Mac (Yosemite 10.10.3) I have never been able to save a Notebook, either through the "Save" or "Save to Wolfram Cloud" options. I always get the following error:

enter image description here

I can't do anything in this error view – including rename the file – except click "Try Again" which always returns the same error.

Obviously, the inability to save any work makes me reluctant to actually do anything serious with Wolfram Desktop.

The first thing I did was contact support, but unless you're a "Premier Service Subscriber" your options there (and likelihood of reaching a conclusion) are very limited. Was hoping that somebody else had run into the same issue.

Nothing? This is a deal breaker. I can't save anything I create using Wolfram Desktop???

The obvious thing to do, I would suggest, is to contact Wolfram support.

Try evaluating

   PacletUpdate["HTTPClient"]

early in your session.

Not a sure cure, but this has helped with some recent communication issues.

Thanks for the tip, Bruce. Unfortunately, didn't seem to fix the issue.

I have the same problem, It does not matter if I use Linux or Windows. Yesterday I send and email to Wolfram support, no answer so far.
