Hi Daniel, Richard Gass from the Department of Physics at University of Cincinnati has written Numerical Solutions to the Schrödinger Equation in Mathematica. I haven't had the time look at it in detail, but It looks to be an introduction to 1D quantum mechanics and is very detailed. Check it out if interested at http://bit.ly/1iho7HJ

You also might try chapters 2 and 3 in Introduction to Nanoelectronics by Vladimir V. Mitin. I got the books because of my interested in electron transport in semiconductors and nanostructures (see chapter 6-8). Many of the sections can easily be converted to Mathematica by hand. http://amzn.to/10FjA2o

Jay, thank you very much for referencing the notebook! Richard Gass is a member of this community and I will let him know his book is discussed. Great references indeed!

Hi Vitaliy, That is so good to hear and yes It looks like a great reference. Clearly Richard has put a lot of effort into it.

See many examples at Demonstrations, this example of Eigenproblem and also NDEigensystem function.
