How to obtain the steps in the simplification process of a math expression?

Posted 10 years ago

UPDATE & CLARIFY: the 'step by step' does not work for this, if possible, I would like to see the exact steps in the simplification process note: to those who suggested "together" - thank you, but that didn't provide the steps either

I am not seeing the simplification required to simplify:

[-(x^2/(2 + x^2)^(3/2)) + 1/Sqrt[2 + x^2]]

to

2/(2 + x^2)^(3/2)

enter image description here

would someone mind posting the steps?

note: this started in the Calculus community, but I am unable to reply to the original thread... sorry if duplicated

again - thanks
