Could not make 3d plots (Linux Box)

Posted 9 years ago

Hi, I have just installed the student version of Mathematica on my Linux Box, and have problems with the 3d plots. It just gives me a black square box with nothing in it. The Kconsole says "failed to link program". Any clues on how to fix it?

Thanks in advance for your help.

These kinds of problems tend to be very specific to your OS and hardware.

I recommend send an email to Wolfram Technical Support (support@wolfram.com) or contacting them through this online form:

When contacting them, include a Mathematica notebook where you have evaluated the command SystemInformation[]. This command produces a box filled with information about your machine that will help this diagnose the issue.
