Workbench 2 not working on macosx 10

Hi,

I am using mathematica 10.1 with workbench 2 on macos x yosemite. However whenever I start the session with workbench and when I click in workbench a .nb file of my project then the mathematica fronted opens but workbench remains busy (bottom right indicator) and after a while it stops and gives the message that the fronted could not be opened.
Any help welcome

Workbench 2 does not work with Mathematica 10 on any platform as far as I can tell. This has been discussed on the community previously.
