User Portlet

I'm currently leading a small research team at DNV looking into emerging technologies in the domain of safety risk management and responsible use of AI.

I have a PhD in physics from the University of Oslo, Norway, and did my BSc and MSc in theoretical physics at the University of Stellenbosch, South Africa.

I participated at the 2013 Wolfram Science Summer School, and for my project I developed a simple network automaton model for fracture network evolution.
