James Douglas Boyd was a student at the 2021 Wolfram Summer School in the Fundamental Physics Track. He is beginning a job as a Complex Systems Analyst under contract with SingularityNET, where he will be applying Homotopy Type Theory (HoTT), Info-Metrics, and complexity theory to problems in decentralized artificial intelligence. He is also currently conducting research on the "gray goo" problem in molecular nanotechnology with support from Prince Mohammad Bin Fahd University. Boyd's interests include computer science, mathematics, SETI, the physics of information, economics, architecture, conflict studies, and cinema. Boyd has been involved in projects germane to such disciplines at institutions as diverse as the National Defense University and the Parsons School of Design.
