Douw Marx is a Mechanical Engineer who, at the time of attending the Wolfram summer school, is conducting research in the field of condition-based maintenance at the University of Pretoria, South-Africa. Douw is an advocate for a computational approach to problem-solving and considers his programming ability to be a key tool for finding innovative solutions to engineering problems.
