ABOUT ME:

I graduated with First Class Honours in BSc Mathematics from the University of Aberdeen in June 2015. My degree encompassed a wide range of branches of mathematics, including abstract algebra, mathematical physics, probability and dynamics. Among the more memorable courses I undertook was in mathematical modelling and involved working as part of a small team to model a real life situation using Mathematica.

In January 2016 I began working as a Risk Analyst for marine risk specialist Anatec. This role involves using computer models to produce risk assessments and traffic analysis for operations taking place offshore. My focus is on the Oil & Gas sector but I also carry out work involving renewable energy and specialised projects, as well installing and retrieving data from docked vessels.

Outside of work I am all about sport, with a particular emphasis on football and running, both of which I partake in as hobbies. I also enjoy watching just about any sport on TV and have an interest in the technicalities of sports broadcasting. Watching TV is another favoured pursuit, while baking, Su Doku and astronomy are also common past-times.
