Maxwell Wang, a former NetMath (Calculus & Mathematica) student at the University of Illinois, started learning calculus and exploring Mathematica since 5th grade. He has been pursuing research in applied mathematics. In 2012, he attended the Research Science Institute, hosted by MIT, as an intern in the Model-based Embedded and Robotic Systems Group of the Computer Science and Artificial Intelligence Lab (CSAIL) and wrote a paper on autonomous robotics networks. He will attend Washington University in St. Louis with a full-tuition scholarship as a freshman in Fall, 2013. He is excited to expand his interests in electrical engineering and biomedical applications.
