Actively engaged in distributed system development, big data, ML/DS and AI almost 25 years. I'm a lifelong learner and get my thrills from emerging technologies, startup culture, and any tech that brings me back to math.

I live in the San Francisco Bay Area. Empty nester in a gorgeous two-story Victorian with an American Bully named Smitty. Hoping to make more time for hobbies, old and new. Hoping to learn wood-turning and a little hobby chemistry over the next few years.

Fun fact: I'd be an electrician apprentice today with the local union, but it takes waaaay too long to get on the eligibility list.
