I've been working at Wolfram since 2006 (or the last months of Mathematica v5.2, if that helps orient things more clearly!) and for the vast majority of that time I have worked in Business Development, which involves helping our network of experienced Sales Partners through Europe to grow usage of our products and services by building strong relationships with our users and potential users. I currently look after the DACH region as well as Hungary and Portugal, and territories across Northern Africa.
I'm not a Mathematica programmer or developer but as a company employee and general user I can only marvel at the huge amount of innovation that has gone into making Mathematica so much easier for the first-time or early user; along, of course, with the enormous technological breadth of functionality Mathematica offers. We have some exciting times ahead and there is always something to learn, so if I don't immediately have an answer to your question, I hope to be able to call upon someone who does, and point you in their direction!
