Ruben Garcia was introduced to Mathematica at UC Berkeley in 1997 and currently uses Mathematica for teaching mathematics at the senior high-school and college level at Jakarta International College. His students include those who are enrolled in the Monash University Foundation Program and those who attend Monash College Jakarta.

Ruben has been teaching at the undergraduate and graduate level in business, finance, and IT-related subjects since 1999. He taught at UC Berkeley Extension for four years and has been lecturing in Jakarta since 2004.
