User Portlet

I was a researcher in seismology for most of my career. Officially retired in 2005, I hold an emeritus position at the U. Nevada and am still involved in research and in the use of Mathematica. I have used Mathematica since 1990 and have contributed to the community through MathSource, Demonstrations, a Mathematica Journal article, and 3 books heavily dependent on the Mathematica program. My current interests are in ambient noise processing in seismology and seismic source characterization. I have also applied Mathematica to making 3-D wood sculptures--see my website www.equationgraphics.com.
