While studying Liberal Arts and Sciences at Amsterdam University College during my "day job", I'm doing my own research and working for the Wolfram Physics Project later at night (thanks to time zones :) ). And actually, this dichotomy is pretty representative for most of my life: trying to keep a healthy balance between broad high-level perspectives on interdisciplinary matters while maintaining to do highly specialised research in maths, physics or computer science. Trying to think outside the box while still wanting to know what exactly in the box is, if you want to put it like that... It's challenging, but not all hope is lost - we can prove that there exists an algorithm to solve the problem!
