5 years past, there's still no GAM model built in.
There're lots of biotech terminologies, but it's definitely an interesting post!
Wondering if M12.1 will have anything in it for these mixed linear models.
I import excel files (xlsx) and csv files frequently and encounter no problem. Would you mind attach your file and your code for import? so I can have a check.

From my point of view, Wolfram One to Mathematica is like Office 365 to Microsoft Suits (Office, Excel, ...) Let me know if i'm wrong.
