ABOUT ME:

Professor of Biomathematics and Chair in Mathematical and Theoretical Physical Biosciences. I am a mathematical ecologist dedicated to building models and developing theories to elucidate emerging patterns in ecology and evolution. My research primarily revolves around formulating and modeling the intricacies of biodiversity patterns and biotic interactions. In addition to mathematical ecology and modeling, my investigations also extend into population ecology, community ecology, network ecology, evolutionary ecology, macroecology, global change biology, and invasion biology. The field of ecology delves into the study of biodiversity in all its vastness and complexity. Given the highly intricate and adaptive nature of ecological processes, I rely on the simplicity of mathematical language to construct models and establish theoretical frameworks.
